Abstract
Objectives: Describe the knowledge and nutritional practices of pupils at three secondary schools in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province in 2017.
Methods: A cross-sectional study of 730 students from 11- 14 years old with knowledge and practice about nthe utrition of pupils.
Results: Of the total of 730 pupils, 53.8% were male. Knowledge of essential foods in daily meals of pupils at three schools: the group of vegetables, ripe fruit (76.6%); meat and meat products (75.7%); Cereal (59.5%). Practices: Number of pupils having breakfast at three schools (63.3%). The number of children eating three meals a day is 71.1%.
Conclusion: pupils who do not have proper knowledge about nutrition and practices are unsuitable. We make recommendations to strengthen nutritional communication for pupils.
