Abstract

Objective: To assessing satisfaction and learn some factors related to the satisfaction in non-anesthetic colonoscopy patients with nursing intervention at Thai Binh University of Medical and Pharmacy.

Method: Cross-sectional descriptive studies with analysis on 150 patients who colonoscopy non anesthetic. Nursing intervention such as hand out flyers, dietary counseling, explain the importance and sensations, explaination of thư importance and sensations of the colonoscopy, detailed the procedure’s attention point. The patients were listens to non-verbal music during the process. Use the GHAA-9 scale to evaluate satisfaction.

Results: The satisfaction level of patients of patients with colonoscopy on the laparoscopic content doctor’s status is 96,7%; satisfied with the nursing attitude is 100%. Patients satisfied with the appointment time is 84.75%; on waiting time is 80%. 93.3% of patients are satisfied with the doctors' skills in performing the procedures; On the issue of being provided with information, the percentage of patients who are satisfied is 76%, and for the information explanation it is 75.3%. However, 24.7% of patients are satisfied about the waiting rooms, endoscopes and toilets, 63.3% of patients rated it as normal and 12% showed dissatisfaction.

Conclusion: The satisfaction level of patients is relatively high (82,7%). There is a relationship between pain level and patient’s satisfation.
