Abstract

Objective: To describe the knowledge of Covid-19 vaccines and factors related to the knowledge of Covid-19 vaccines of people at the injection site of Nam Dinh University of Nursing in 2022.

Subjects and Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 403 subjects from December 2021 to March 2022.

Results: Most of participants are aged at 18 to 45 years old (55.1%). 54,1% of the subjects was female. 100% of the participants were vaccinated with at least one dose, 19.1% of subjects received the third dose, and 72% of subjects received the second dose was. 85.4% of the subjects agreed that the benefit of vaccination is to help protect the body against the spread of the Virus. The average score of knowledge is 7.2 ± 1.5 out of 10 questions. There were relationships between the level of education, occupation and the times of vaccination against Covid-19 with the knowledge of the study participants about the Covid-19 vaccine.

Conclusions: The people’s knowledge about Covid-19 vaccine is not as expected. It is necessary to continue to carry out health education to improve the people’s knowledge about the Covid-19 pademic and the Covid-19 vaccine.
