Abstract
Objective: To assess the result of treatment for infertile couples by IUI in the city of Nam Dinh.
Method: Descriptive study of cross section thirty IUI cycle of infertile couples - infertility due to cervical causes, lack of sperm, unknown cause during September 2016 June 2017 at 144 Song Hao - Nam Dinh.
Results: The average age of the wife is 29.1 ± 3.7.The mean age of the husband was 32.5 ± 4.46; Average mean birth defect was 3.3 ± 1.8 (years); Causes of sterility due to weak sperm, less, deformity accounts for the highest rate: 80%; The hCG-free period was high with 73.3%. The thickness of the uterus of the subjects was 8-10 (mm), accounting for 56.7%, the prevalence of biochemical abnormalities pregnant clinical accounted for 13.3%.
Conclusion: Treatment of infertile couples by IUI in Nam Dinh city resulted in a prevalence of biochemical pregnancy such as clinical pregnancy accounted for 13.3%.
