Abstract
Objective: To describe the knowledge of health workers about infection control at 30 Commune Health Stations in Vu Thu District, Thai Binh Province.
Method: The descriptive study was implemented among 129 health workers from January 2017 to December 2017.
Results: The health workers learnt the important content of infection control was from 55.8% to 93.0%. The health workers learnt the procedure of safety environments in the health technical room was from 41.9% to 98.7%. The knowledge of health workers about principle of sterile for equipment in the medical procedures accounted for more than82.9%. The knowledge of health workers about handwashing were from 65.6% to 92.3%, respectively.
Conclusion: The percentages of knowledge of health workers about infection control were fluctuated.
