Abstract
Objective: To describe the situation of satisfaction for medical examination services of Thanh Hoa centers for disease control and prevention.
Method: Descriptive research design was conducted on 400 subjects randomly selected from the subjects to the medical examination service at the Center. Using the method of interviewing the subjects directly with the outpatient satisfaction assessment toolkit as guided by the Ministry of Health.
Results: Satisfaction score averaged on a scale of 4-4,6/5 points. The satisfaction rate of the general subjects was expected to be 94,8%. The overall satisfaction rate of the advocate for accessibility is 54%; The rate of satisfaction with information transparency and procedure is 98,5%; The satisfaction rate with facilities and service facilities is 84,3%; The satisfaction rate with behavior attitude and professional capacity is 100%; Satisfaction rate with the service delivery result is 100%. There are 100% of respondents will come back: 8,5% of replies will probably come back and 91,5% confirmed that they will come back.
Conclusion: The patients’ satisfaction for medical examination services of Thanhhoa centers for disease control and prevention is relatively good. However, improvements are still needed to enhance satisfaction, especially the “Accessibility” criterion.
